If you go for wood it should be pure. Within artist series you can make the choice between shells that are made 100% from the finest veneers: maple, bubinga, oak and walnut. Our aim is to keep the wood in a nearly natural condition - that´s one of the reasons why we do prefer natural finishes within this series.

OAK

robust tone with a delightful projection and a crisp character - mostly used for pop / fusion / funk

MAPLE

warm and clear sound,  fine projection, rich overtones - it´s half way in hardness between walnut and bubinga

BUBINGA

full attack, deep/dark tone, powerful resonance - one of the hardest woods you can get

round and warm tone, long sustain, perfect for vintage and jazz sounds - light and soft wood
